Register to Vote
Registering to vote in Maryland is a quick process. You’ll need a state issued photo ID (such as your driver’s license).
To register to vote, you must be:
A U.S. citizen;
A Maryland resident; and
At least 16 years old (although you can’t vote until you turn 18).
How to Register
Use the online application;
Print and mail the paper application;
Register in-person at the polling center on Election Day; or
Register in-person at a voting center during Early Voting.
